Canada 2022: Coast to Coast
Once again, we are off on another epic road trip, across Canada. Only, this time there is a major difference. We planned this trip last summer but sadly, my wife, best friend and constant companion for over 40 years, will not be joining me. Joy passed away in February. I decided to make the trip anyway, in her honour. It will be very odd to travel alone and difficult at times, but I think she would have wanted it this way.
The plan is to leave home in central Alberta and head to Tofino, B.C. on the west coast then travel back home to Alberta on April 15th. Then leave again on May 11th, heading across the country, stopping in every province and ending up at Cape Spear, Newfoundland. On the way home I will drop down into Maine and Vermont (also New Hampshire) thus ticking the last two states off my list. I will then have been to all 10 provinces and all 50 states. Then back home to Alberta.
